Touchpoints

The mission of the Child Development Unit is to enhance the emotional, social and cognitive well-being of infants and children and their parents. Over the past 35 years the Unit has established an international reputation as one of the leading centers in the world for research and training on infants’ and children’s development, parenting, and infant-parent therapeutic programs. The clinical work of the Unit is derived from and fully integrated with its research programs.

Children's Hospital Boston's mission is to provide the highest quality health care. It is also the hospital's mission to enhance the well-being of the children and families in our local community. In support of this mission, Children's strives to be the leading source of research and discovery, seeking new approaches to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of childhood and adult diseases, as well as to educate the next generation of leaders in child health.
